Singing Bowls Australia (ABN 94 242 088 089), an Australian business. We want you to love your instrument. This policy explains what happens if something isn't right, in line with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in this policy limits those rights.
Faulty goods
If an item is faulty, not as described, or doesn't do what we said it would, we will repair, replace or refund it.
- If the problem is a major failure, you can choose a refund or a replacement.
- If it is a minor problem, we may choose to repair it, replace it or refund you, within a reasonable time.
This applies to everything we sell, including crystal singing bowls, chalices, crystal harps and Crystal Tones™ alchemy singing bowls, which our customers access as a sister partner via Divine Sound.
Damage in transit
Every piece is packed very carefully, and we have never had an item damaged in shipping. If it ever happens, we will make it right.
If your order arrives damaged, please let us know within 3 days of receiving it, ideally with photos of the item and the packaging. Please keep the packaging until we have sorted it out.
Reporting quickly lets us lodge a claim with the carrier and get a replacement or refund to you sooner. Items damaged in transit are covered under the Australian Consumer Law, so if you notice damage later, please still contact us.
Change of mind
Each of our instruments carries its own energetic imprint, and once a piece has left us and been with you, it becomes yours. For this reason, all sales are final for change of mind, for example if you chose a different note or no longer want the item.
This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If an item is faulty, not as described, or damaged in transit, you are still covered (see above).
We are always happy to help you choose before you buy. Email us with any questions, or hear the bowls in person at a free pickup appointment.
How to ask for a refund, repair or replacement
- Email singingbowlsaus@gmail.com with your name, order number and a description of the problem, plus photos if the item is damaged or faulty.
- We will reply with the next steps. Please don't send anything back until we have agreed how to return it, so it is packed and insured properly.
- For faulty or damaged goods, we cover the reasonable cost of returning the item to us.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the way you paid:
- Card (Stripe): refunded to the same card.
- Afterpay: refunded through Afterpay, which adjusts or refunds your instalments.
- PayID: refunded by bank transfer to the account the payment came from.
We process approved refunds promptly. Your bank or Afterpay may take a few more days to show it.
