Our Handheld Metal Swing Chimes put a whole scale in the palm of your hand. These metal chimes are tuned to the nine-note solfeggio scale, the set of tones long associated with sacred music and Gregorian chant.

They are wonderfully simple to play. Hold them and swing gently: the chimes move on their own and ring in cascading, overlapping patterns. A small movement gives a soft shimmer; a wider swing gives a fuller wash of sound.

Practitioners use these swing chimes as healing chimes and energy chimes to open a sound bath, clear the space between instruments, mark transitions in a yoga class or bring a group back to the present after meditation.

Because they are light and handheld, you can move them over and around the body during one-to-one sessions, or carry them easily to classes and retreats.

Care: keep them dry, wipe the metal with a soft cloth after use and store them in the storage bag that comes with them, so the chimes are not tangled or knocked.
