The human ear perceives sound between approximately 20 Hz and 20,000 Hz. Below 20 Hz lies infrasound—frequencies too low to hear but not too low to feel. Large gongs, massive organ pipes, and certain natural phenomena produce these subsonic vibrations. They pass through walls, travel vast distances, and interact with the human body in ways that audible sound cannot.

Room Considerations
